π A Home Restored β Hope Reborn
Brethren, this is unbelievable before man.
This powerful image captures more than just a family seated before a modest home β it tells a story of hope restored, dignity regained, and love made visible through action. At the center sits an elderly grandmother, her face radiant with joy, surrounded by her eight grandchildren. Their smiles speak volumes: this is a family that has found shelter, safety, and renewed life.
This act of benevolence β providing a home for the vulnerable β is not just a social good; it is a deeply spiritual act that resonates with the very heart of God.
π James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distressβ¦"
π Proverbs 19:17 "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done."
What has been done here is not merely charity β it is an offering to God Himself. It is a seed sown into the Kingdom, one that carries eternal value.
From a personal perspective, this moment has deeply moved my heart. Seeing the transformation in this family stirs a profound sense of gratitude and humility within me. It reminds me that ministry is not only about preaching the Word, but living it out in tangible ways.
π Matthew 25:40 "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
In touching their lives, we have touched Christ Himself.
π₯ Just one step remaining:
Beds, bedding, and household items like cooking utensils.
Remember: they were being hosted in a rented house whose owner is outside the country β which had everything needed for their survival. Now they will be moving out to their new house. We would like to at least get them started and heal from their past. Losing both parents due to gender-based violence is painful.
Let's stand in the gap. Prayers that can move mountains can as well touch people to give. Keep praying.
